Our skippered boats are based at multiple locations in Bray. Dragonfly operates from the stunning Monkey Island Estate while Midsomer Maiden is moored at Bray Marina. Both boats can travel to alternative location, most often on the beautiful River Thames between Henley and Windsor. For bookings starting or finishing elsewhere please contact us to confirm the mooring is suitable and the applicable positioning charge.

We have carefully selected our boats to be suitable in all weathers - we do operate in England after all!

The self drive launches have full length canopies to keep you covered and dry in the event of a shower.
Both Midsomer Maiden and Dragonfly offer full cover, while Dragonfly also benefits from onboard heating.

Please note all our operations are subject to river and weather conditions - if we are forced to cancel your booking on safety grounds we will rebook or fully refund your trip.

We have a full range of buoyancy aids available on site. These are compulsory for children aged 12 or under and non-swimmers on all boats.

Suitably sized buoyancy aids will be provided for all other passengers upon request.

Please note it is the parents responsibility to ensure that buoyancy aids are worn by children for the full duration of your trip.

We welcome dogs aboard our boats as long as the dog is happy! Please ensure they are clean when boarding as any additional cleaning required would be chargeable.

Comfortable clothing is recommended for all vessels.

The river is an exposed environment and it can often feel cooler than other areas on any given day - it is advisable to bring an extra layer or two to stay warm, particularly if there is a breeze.

Any payment received will be refunded providing 2 weeks written notice of cancellation be given.

You will be liable for any balance of the boat hire and the cost of any goods or services reserved on your behalf should cancellation, for any reason whatsoever, take place during the 2 weeks prior to the date reserved unless the vessel and all services reserved are resold.

We will aim to resell your trip if you are unable to make it due to unforeseen circumstances, the more notice you give us the more likely we are to be able to do so. If you have asked us to do so please do not turn up for your booking without confirming with us first as it may have already been resold.

Where we are able to resell your booking we will credit or refund the amount resold, though please be aware this may be a partial amount if the original booking was several hours/passengers. During peak periods our team are often busy with guests during the day so it may take us a day or two to process the refund, rest assured we will be in touch as soon as possible.

In the event that it is necessary for us to cancel your booking a full refund or rebooking will be given.

In the near future we would love to offer a wheelchair accessible boat though infrastructure improvements are needed before we are able to do so.

At present we are able to offer the following advice, if the passenger is keen to get onboard and can be carried, our team will assist as much as possible. Unfortunately due to the design of the boats there is not space to accommodate large wheelchairs, though if they fold we can stow them onboard.

Please do discuss your needs with us so that we can accommodate them as far as practical.
